Hal Newhouser 

                                                     

I was born and abandoned  on the steps of a rural church on the Colorado plains. I was adopted by great parents.  My mother Katherine was the biggest influence in my life and got me my first one man show in 1960. I have drawn and painted since I was 12 years old. I sold one of a kind pottery and painting in several art shows around Denver. I completed two years at "Bergman Commercial Art School doing some commissions then moved to Florida in 1979 where I took portrait classes. I traveled Florida looking for natural scenes to photograph and then paint.  I have been featured in many galleries and participated in many art shows in Florida.
