I am a self taught artist, 6+ years of work. I have read a few books, watched numerous videos and have attended several workshops to develop my style of painting in oils and acrylics.
Most of my paintings will be of tropical subjects with ideas from my travels to Hawaii and the Caribbean. The turquoise waters and bright colors of the islands make for wonderful tropical scenes and I enhance them with atmospheric effects such as the moon, clouds and storms.
I do other subjects and my interests are baseball, animals,trains and general landscapes. Some of my non tropical paintings will be based on these subjects. I also have done and continue to do commission work on any subject.
